Senior QA Engineer - Extremely successful, worldwide market leader wishes to augment its existing team with a Senior Software Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly exceptional organisation working in a high profile market offering excellent career progression.
The role includes working closely with the QA Manager and Development Teams to create viable plans, and also with more junior engineers to ensure that quality work is carried out throughout the QA team. The ideal candidate will be able to develop test plans, designs and schedules; diagnose faults and support developers during analysis; produce clear and concise bug reports and test records; show flexibility to meet challenging business needs; work independently as well as part of a team and be a mentor to junior staff members. The successful Senior QA Engineer should also demonstrate an understanding of different software test processes and methodologies (eg IEE829). An awareness of developments in testing and test tools is desirable.
